  • Intrinsic It does indeed work now :) thx PO1 :)
  • komebomb oi, p0i. you should add screenshots to the search results. I always liked that about the original 256B.com.
  • P01 ok, I'll do some tests to find something that looks nice and do not create a godzillesque page when there is many results
  • kometbomb that reminds me, viewing all the oneliners doesn't work in firefox
  • P01 yep, Firefox hates the very long pages, that why I put the 'view the 25 latest oneliners' as a quick fix. But something like 'view previous 25 onliners' / 'view next 25 oneliners' should take 5 minutes to code
  • kometbomb yes, and I bet every coder knows the smaller the job, the harder it's to do :)
  • knetpimmel fickbratze
  • Jestah Take my wife. Please ... killer site Poi
  • P01 Thank you Jestah, could I see a picture of you wife beofre taking a definitive decision ? ; )
  • bushy Hey! *wowee*. Been yonks since I've visted. Awesome job on the new look!
  • gr0 where's the search functions? random is cool, sure, but whithout searching, 256b is near useless.
  • P01 gr0: ?? don't you see the text field and SEARCH link on the right of the navigation bar ??
  • DiLA tis a bit hidden i guess ;)
  • gr0 i wasn't talking about that search box. i was talking about browsing demos by years and groups.
  • P01 to browse the demos by group you simply watch the "FROM THE SAME GROUP" list of a demo sheet, but indeed I should probably do an advanced search feature to allow to search the demos on any field.
  • Tyler Durden Yep, couse' search by coder's name get's no results
  • P01 what I said about the demos "FROM THE SAME GROUP" also stands for the CODERs and CONTESTs, but you both win, I'll make an "advanced research page"
  • blahhhh mercedes benz - your premium screw up solution.
  • Intrinsic I guess you watched the McLarens die again :( lets they can get their act together in time for the B spec chassis
  • blahhhh certainly hope so...
  • Tyler Durden Does anybody know how to register at planet-d.net ? what is affiliate btw ?!
  • P01 fill the form @ http://www.planet-d.net/?p=enlist and your account should be created rather quickly ( if not instantly )
  • galen McLaren Mercedes showed us the best smoke effect ever!
  • Intrinsc At least they stopped doing their Iraqi Information Minister impression: "There is nothing wrong with our engines, everything is fine"

  • Complete archive back ( at last )

It took 5 months, but I've received the message. Let's put the delay on the count of a new job + some freelance work + more professional contacts + some extreme boredom to touch a code that was working perfectly until the host changed the settings and rights with no warning.2005-06-05 by P01

  • Recent problems

As many of you saw, there's been some problems recently with the downloads. I was away for almost a month for the birth of my nephew when the host of http://www.256b.com had no better idea than changing the configuration of PHP. Therefore all the prods with an ID above 402 are not available. Btw, I received 2800+ mails of errors and a handfull of inmates noticed me the bug too. I'll fix that as soon as possible. Meanwhile, happy new year!2005-01-02 by P01

  • Page titles, new skin and other minor changes

One thing bugged me since a while : the title of the prods did not appear in the title of the pages. That thing is fixed. Adding a wildcard in the SEARCH input is not longer mandatory. Some minor things have changed in the XHTML/CSS. And I made a new skin for the site. Your feedback is welcome.2004-11-28 by P01

  • Improvement of the search feature

Wildcards have been enabled in the SEARCH feature. You can use * or ? like anywhere else. At least that's a significant improvement until I code the Advanced Search feature to allow the search on any field ( name, coder, year, group, ... ).2004-10-21 by P01

  • Hello CPC

256b.com welcomes its first Amstrad CPC intro. It's called "a bouncing pixel" ( http://www.256b.com/demo/463 ). You'll find the URL of an emulator in the LINKS sections and will btw see the new button I made for pouet.net few days ago.2004-10-18 by P01
