- Iron Wallaby So... much... niftiness...
- B_KiLLeR Should I upload other people's 256b games I found on tthe net? I've got >25 of them! I don't know every game's author I'm afraid ... :-(
- shr oh, new design? hi people I am whithout Net and job trying to code some nice 256b :) best wishes to all
- ror good luck shr !
- NinjaDRM when will the "complete archieve" feature be activated again? :)
- P01 B_KiLLeR: I don't really know. 256b.com is a demo-scene related website, so I'm not quite sure. Let the people decide. / shr: good luck. / NinjaDRM: as soon as I can get several hours to code on the site : (
- Wizzard Very nice design! i love 256bytes ;)
- S32 Not bad...could be better...
- B_KiLLeR *people*: Would you like to see >25 new "256ByTeS DEMOS" of which >10 are *very* original and they can be played with OK? / NinjaDRM: I've downloaded them all hand-by-hand, it took ~3 hours -> if one REALLY needs them, one can have 'em, see how? (or WGET)
- B_KiLLeR oops... I mean: I've downloaded them by hand one-by-one ...
- B_KiLLeR P01: BTW: You are right, we should create a "NONSCENE" category too... I've seen a lot of these here already. (What if a demo could have flags, e.g.: [TINY], [PLASMA], [3D], [FRAC], [INT], [TXT] or [GAME] ?)
- Intrinsic I wouldn't catagorise them, you'd be there forever doing it, and many cross styles. For games though, pouet accepts them to a certain degree if they were released at a meet.
- P01 B_KiLLeR: could you contact me via the http://www.256b.com/contact.php . Honnestly my feelings are mixed about adding 256b games. As I've never heard of such a category in the demo-scene.
- Iron Wallaby 256b games? I would be entirely amazed if it ended up looking better than rectangles sliding around.
- P01 Actually, Iron, check in the comments of Wolf ( http://www.256b.com/demo/239 ), there's a list of interractive intros or games in 256b released in compos
- B_KiLLeR Intrinsic: I would rate Julia256 by Rasky / Spyral as [GFX] [FRAC] [SND] / P01: I'll be right with you
- Intrinsic Problem is, we have almost 400 releases listed here. That is a lot of prods to assign a catagory to :) It's purely a time factor and lack of.
- B_KiLLeR Intrinsic: And we would have to create a standard for the symols too... BTW: I have 22 anonym unreleased games left. What should I do with them? Should I submit them for a "trial" period in an archive?? (+2 named, but still contacting the author...)
- OMG! Optimus is back @ pouet!!!!
- insomniac ooops. close call there. the domain is renewed now :)
- Tyler Durden Does anybody know how to reg on this f***ing planet-d ? I submit there for the 10th time - no results :(
- P01 Tyler Durden: Have you sent a mail to the admins of Planet-d to see if they're still alive ?
- P01 on the other, you could also buy a domain name and little space on a host. It costs ~30? per year for an average domain name, a hosting solution with a database ...
- Tyler Durden Yep, I send them a lot of letter, but they didn't answer :( And they're still alive I think (news are up to date)...
- NinjaDRM Honestly, I don't think games should be added here. Maybe if it is a walkable maze or so. But Tetris or Scramble? Nah...

POST A ONELINER- Complete archive back ( at last )
It took 5 months, but I've received the message. Let's put the delay on the count of a new job + some freelance work + more professional contacts + some extreme boredom to touch a code that was working perfectly until the host changed the settings and rights with no warning.2005-06-05 by P01
- Recent problems
As many of you saw, there's been some problems recently with the downloads. I was away for almost a month for the birth of my nephew when the host of http://www.256b.com had no better idea than changing the configuration of PHP. Therefore all the prods with an ID above 402 are not available. Btw, I received 2800+ mails of errors and a handfull of inmates noticed me the bug too. I'll fix that as soon as possible. Meanwhile, happy new year!2005-01-02 by P01
- Page titles, new skin and other minor changes
One thing bugged me since a while : the title of the prods did not appear in the title of the pages. That thing is fixed. Adding a wildcard in the SEARCH input is not longer mandatory. Some minor things have changed in the XHTML/CSS. And I made a new skin for the site. Your feedback is welcome.2004-11-28 by P01
- Improvement of the search feature
Wildcards have been enabled in the SEARCH feature. You can use * or ? like anywhere else. At least that's a significant improvement until I code the Advanced Search feature to allow the search on any field ( name, coder, year, group, ... ).2004-10-21 by P01
- Hello CPC
256b.com welcomes its first Amstrad CPC intro. It's called "a bouncing pixel" ( http://www.256b.com/demo/463 ). You'll find the URL of an emulator in the LINKS sections and will btw see the new button I made for pouet.net few days ago.2004-10-18 by P01
